Making it Work With Project Runway

By : Nicole

Television has always been a great way to hit up the new fashion trends.  For the past couple of years, one show that has pushed this idea forward is Project Runway.  Now showing  in the United States, Australia and Canada, this series showcases new ideas and designs relating to culture, nature and future fashion trends.

For those not familiar with the show, it is driven by the raw ideas and visions of a selection of designers.  They are each tasked to design a piece following a certain theme or series of themes and are generally responsible for the garments that their models wear while walking down the runway.

Among the tasks the designers have, they must also find a hair style that fits the mood and shape of the piece being worn by their model.  While the designers may make the dresses that are worn on stage, they are usually given an option when it comes to footwear.

Here at  Sterling Leather we offer various styles of footwear.  Just as the trends change, so does our ever growing inventory.  The demand for boots, moccasins, slippers and other footwear is massive!

Minnetonka Thunderbird Suede Moccasin

Our Minnetonka Thunderbird Suede Moccasin (shown to the left) is just one of the many styles we carry right from Minnetonka.  Regardless of the style you choose, these moccasins, slippers, sandals and boots are meant to hug the foot for maximum comfort.
